The ambient mode of the Google Assistant turns your smartphone screen into a smart display when it is charging. It’s incredibly useful and fun. How to use ambient mode.

Ambient Mode on Android able to  your phone into a digital photo frame, and many more like  controller for your music or other smart home devices  and much more than this . When launched, Arvind Chandrababu, product manager for Google Assistant, said that the purpose of ambient mode was to “help you get things done faster, anticipate your needs and get things done as quickly and easily as possible”.

How to use ambient mode 

but now also available on One Plus smart phones. It is also present on Sony Xperia, Transsion and Xiaomi smartphones, and on some Lenovo tablets, running Android 8.1  and above.

Ambient mode is available on One Plus smart phones

In partnership with Google, One Plus now offers ambient mode via Google Assistant on One Plus devices, from One Plus 3 .

One Plus has also created a quick way to activate ambient mode. To activate this function, the One Plus device must be connected to a charger. Then just click on your notifications and follow the instructions to complete the setup process.

How to activate ambient mode on Android

For activation of  ambient mode, you must need to go Google Assistant app. From there, follow the steps below:

  1. Tap the compass icon to access the settings .
  2. Tap your avatar, then Settings, and Assistant .
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Phone / Tablet.
  4. Scroll down to Personalization.
  5. Activate the ambient mode.

Once you activate then it, the ambient mode automatically activate when you connect your Smartphone to a charger.
